We collect information you provide directly — your name, username, email, profile details, photos, listings, and posts.

We also collect technical data automatically, including device type, browser, IP address, and how you interact with the platform, so we can keep UVelsi secure and improve your experience.

We practise data minimisation: we collect only what we need to run the service, and nothing more.

Private conversations on UVelsi belong to you and the people you are talking to. We do not read your private messages, we do not use them to target advertising, and we never sell them.

Messages are transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS) and are accessible only to the conversation participants and the systems required to deliver them.

We are committed to end-to-end encryption for private messaging, where only you and your recipient hold the keys to read a conversation. As this rolls out, we will clearly indicate which conversations are end-to-end encrypted.

Your information powers the core experience: showing your profile, processing orders, connecting buyers with sellers, models, and designers, and personalising the feed and recommendations to your taste.

We never sell your personal data, and we never read or mine your private messages. We use your information only to operate, secure, and improve UVelsi, and to communicate with you about your account and activity.

UVelsi uses cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (including your selected theme), and understand which features are most useful.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect parts of the experience, such as staying logged in.

We use privacy-respecting analytics to measure performance and understand aggregate usage trends. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.

We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and continuous monitoring. While no system is perfectly secure, we work hard to safeguard your information and respond quickly to any issue.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data, except where we must retain it for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.
